Our Process
Our recruitment process is designed to ensure a thorough and effective search for the right candidates for your organisation

Step 1: Briefing
Our process begins with an initial briefing, during which we receive a comprehensive understanding of the position you need to fill. We ask questions to clarify and gather additional details as necessary.
Step 2: Assignment Specifications
Once we have the initial briefing, we construct an Assignment Specification. This document includes:
a company profile,
office locations,
team details,
product ranges,
market segments, and
customer demographics.
It also outlines the Position Description:
core competencies,
key responsibilities,
reporting lines, and
required qualifications.
We itemise the proposed remuneration package, and if needed, specify the use of Psychometric Appraisals. Additionally, we provide a timetable of events and deliverable dates. This document is then shared with shortlisted candidates before the interview process begins.
Step 3: Candidate Target List
Confidentiality is crucial in our process, and we work closely with you to create a candidate target list while also maintaining a "do not approach" list. This is a critical part of the process as it protects our client from entering into poaching or direct contact activities.
Step 4: Industry Search of Candidates
Our industry search for candidates, both active and passive, is conducted meticulously across relevant industry networks and online resources, including platforms like LinkedIn. We also advertise the position anonymously on job boards (Seek, Indeed, LinkedIn, Industry/Membership based networks & associations) and various networks to attract a wide pool of candidates.
Step 5: Progress Updates
Throughout the process, we keep you informed with regular progress updates, including candidate feedback, concerns, queries, salary benchmarking information, and market intelligence. We also closely monitor competitor activities to ensure we stay ahead.
Step 6: Candidate Interviews
After compiling a shortlist of interviewed candidates, we prepare summaries for each. All interviews are conducted in person whenever possible to ensure a thorough evaluation.
Step 7: Client Interviews
Client interviews are arranged at a selected location, with the option to provide a boardroom if needed for "off-site" interviews.
Step 8: Reference Checks
Once the selected candidate(s) are nominated, we complete up to two reference checks on each candidate.
Step 9: Verbal Offer
We then make a verbal offer, which is accepted by the candidate, and proceed to prepare and finalise employment contracts.
Step 10: Progress and Feedback
After placement, we remain in close contact with both the candidate and the line manager, discussing progress and feedback at the end of the first week, first month, and second month.
Step 11: Formal Feedback
At the end of the third month, a formal face-to-face feedback meeting is conducted with a report provided as a result. This meeting involves both the candidate and the appropriate line manager, separately, to ensure a successful integration into your organisation.
